The gift of humanity is the highest gift to the world and must be cherished and protected. Every religious congregation should prioritize the sisters and staff who contribute to its mission—they are the greatest asset and deserve to be treated with care, love, and compassion.
Too often, we focus entirely on the people we serve and the care we give, while neglecting our own health and well-being. This oversight causes the mission itself to suffer.
There is a common saying: “Soldier go, soldier come, barrack remains.” But the truth is that while a position can be refilled, you can never replace the unique talents, skills, experience, passion, and memories shared by the person who left.
When we stick to Plan A—which is a fundamental love for humanity—we build a safe community, work environment, and congregation. Our primary mission is to serve while ensuring children and vulnerable adults are fully protected.
